I’ve always loved creative projects, but I especially love what happens when people make things together. There's something about having a project in front of you that makes it easier to relax, talk, laugh, and enjoy the people around you.
Through The Craft Paintery, I bring creative experiences to parties, groups, workplaces, events, and other gatherings around the Cedar Rapids area.
And no, you absolutely do not have to consider yourself “artistic” to join the fun.

Do I need to be artistic?
Not at all! Our creative experiences are designed to be enjoyable for a range of experience levels. The point isn't perfection. It's creating something, trying something new, and having a good time while you do it.
Do you provide the supplies?
Yes. For our in-person experiences, we bring the supplies and materials needed for the planned project.
Where do your parties and events take place?
The Craft Paintery is mobile, so we bring the creative experience to your location. That might be a home, workplace, community space, event venue, or another suitable location.
What kinds of groups can you work with?
We can create experiences for private parties, friend groups, workplaces and teams, community organizations, clubs, celebrations, and other adult gatherings.
What should we wear?
Creative projects can get messy, especially when paint is involved. Wear something you won't be devastated to accidentally decorate.
How do I plan an event?
